When it rains, it pours

Last night we went to Judy's annual Christmas party. It was so fun and the kids loved decorating their graham cracker houses. They are totally destroyed this morning, but they had fun eating the candies.

On our way home, Mike got pulled over going too fast on the freeway. We got a speeding ticket, and found out that our car registration was past due. No notice came, so I hadn't even realized. Luckily the speeding ticket was the 5-9 miles an hour one. It is the cheapest one they have for speeding. It's still $90! This is the first traffic violation Mike has ever gotten. Five minutes later we got pulled over again. Mike was like, "This is about my registration isn't it?" The cop thought it was pretty funny, and let us go. So car registration today, and speeding ticket next week. Happy Christmas!
