Every year when I was little, my older sister and I would wrap all my Mom's presents for her. It was something that we both enjoyed, and still enjoy, doing. I thought my presents were wrapped so pretty. Either they were lying to me about how they looked, or my Mom bought really expensive wrapping paper. My presents that I've wrapped this year are quite ugly. The paper is creasing and tearing in unusual places. The corners are all bent, and they look all bumpy. It doesn't help that my kitty thinks that she owns the tree along with all the presents. She's been tearing open the badly wrapped paper on a couple of them. One was really soft (a blanket I made for Jack), and all of the paper was completely off before I noticed. It is now in a box and has been re-wrapped. I of course buy cheap wrapping paper and am wondering if more expensive wrapping paper would be the way to go.
