10 Years

10 years ago today~ Mike and I were married! It has been such a crazy adventure. We moved from Oregon to Utah, had 4 beautifully healthy children, took our tiny family to the Temple to be sealed for all eternity, bought our home, grew, loved, had fun, been stressed, and everything else you can think of. I can't believe how quickly 10 years has passed. It makes me excited though for the other decades that we get to spend together. I am excited to move into the next stage of raising children and get more sleep and go on more fun adventures.

I was so, so lucky when Heavenly Father dropped Mike into my life. It was such a miracle. If that was all, I would have felt so blessed. It has been amazing to see our life move forward, our children grow older, our love grow stronger. I could never, ever have anticipated such wonderful things were in store for me.

I wanted to share a memory before it leaves me. It almost doesn't seem like it really happened....
Spring 2001~ Mike and I had met, but only casually. We had seen each other at some things, but hadn't had any close interaction yet. We were both at a Floater (local band that we loved) Concert in Eugene, Oregon. I was crowd surfing (yes, I know...crazy!) and it seemed like I had been up a really long time. It was fun, but I was ready to get down. I kept saying, "Can someone help me down?" In a crowd of 300 screaming people nobody really paid any attention. I crossed back and forth over people's heads and hands. Someone grabbed me around my waist and lifted me down. It was Mike. I love that memory for some reason. <3>
