Third Grade Field Trip: Thanksgiving Point

I haven't been on a field trip with the kids yet. I know! Sounds crazy! I guess I did do joy school field trips, but it's been hard to do regular school field trips with little ones at home. Helping in the class is easier because I can bring Nick and Elsie for parties. A dear friend watched the littles for me so I could go with Zeke on a field trip. I haven't actually been this far into the regular garden section of Thanksgiving Point before. I have been in the Children's Garden several times and have walked to the big waterfall from there, but the Tulip Festival is new for me. There are beautifully manicured gardens at Thanksgiving Point. It's amazing.

There is a relatively new section in the Gardens. It's called the "Garden of Light" and it has several large and small metal statues of Christ. All of them have scripture references. It was pretty amazing.

We had a lot of fun, but froze a little. Spring in Utah is unpredictable. I decided to do a new logo. I should have made it a different color, but if you enlarge the picture you can see it. ;)
