30!

 Can you believe it? Mike made it to 30!! Look at how cute he is! I guess we now know who Nicholas looks like. That is totally the same smile and ears and nose.

Yesterday our niece Katie came to watch the kids and we went to the Temple, out to dinner at Roadhouse (where we saw the end of the BYU game. Good job boys!), and then we spent some time looking for sunglasses for Mike. I can't believe how hard it was. Unless of course you want the 80s neon green ones. Those are way easy to find.

Since 30 is kind of a big deal, I surprised him with a cruise that we are taking together in January! We are both really excited to spend an actual vacation together. With school and work we don't get to see enough of each other right now. It should be so fun!

We are so grateful to have Mike as our husband and daddy around here. He is so patient and loving and fun. We still have a family dinner and maybe some sand dunes to finish up his birthday celebrations. I guess we will see.

I love hitting these milestones in our lives together. We have been together as a couple for 10 years now and I can't wait to turn 40, 60, 80 together and so on. I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful person to spend forever with.
