I seriously can't believe how fast time flies by in this family. My little baby is 1 today. It seems like he was just born, that I was just bringing him home from the hospital. He is such an awesome little guy. He has been the BEST baby ever! He is so sweet and cuddly. We had kind of a rough couple of months with ear infections though. Poor guy has had 5 in the last few months. For the last one we had to give him 3 different antibiotics to clear it up. I hate that. It's so hard on their little bodies. Poor little baby. If you all have known me long enough you know that our other 2 boys had to have tubes put in their ears at 2 years old because of ear infections. I guess it's the shape of their little ear canals or something. Neither one of them have had an ear infection since. They just needed to outgrow them and the tubes were a fabulous help. We had a crazy week last week with doctors appointments and the ENT told me on Wednesday that he would do tubes on Friday. You mean this Friday? Yes he did. I was terribly sick all week since I hadn't slept in a couple months and so was Nicholas. It was so nice not to have to wait for another ear infection before doing the tubes. I am glad he has them in and he did great! No crying even after coming out of anesthesia. Such a sweetie. The nurse asked if she could keep him to cuddle with for a while. Anyways...We are glad that is over with and are looking forward to a healthier spring. Now onto the birthday portion of this post.

Here are some fun facts about Nicholas
He loves shoes. He loves trying to get them on and rearranging them throughout the house.
He is really sweet and loves to cuddle, especially with Mommy.
He is the best solid food eater in our family. (We have a lot of chokers)
He can stand for long periods of time, but still doesn't care about walking.
He does the stairs up and down just perfectly.
He has finally stopped putting things in his mouth. (huge sigh of relief)
He picks things up quickly Like holding a pen, playing with different toys, or feeding himself.
He will not allow me to feed him anything anymore. It's still a big mess, but I have no choice. :)
He loves pretending to talk on the phone. It's really funny.
He always has these little projects going on. Like moving things in and out of boxes or from one room to the other. He keeps himself entertained.
He realizes when his siblings are taking advantage of him being a baby and starts yelling at them.
This was taken after he got his tubes. So tuckered out.
We are so grateful for our little Nicholas. He is such a wonderful little guy. Happy Birthday little buddy. We love you so much.
Happy Birthday sweet Nicolas! Eat cake all day long!
