Tae Kwon Do

Zeke kept saying that he wanted to do Karate so we enrolled him in the beginning Tae-Kwon-Do class at our local rec center. It was just a class to see if the kids would be interested in it. I wish Jack could have done it too, but he is just a couple months too young. Jack and Elsie did do quite a bit of their own Karate moves while we watched Zeke.

Blurry picture, but I wanted to show how high Zeke can jump. I was very impressed.
Every time they got their flag pulled they had to do 5 push ups. His push up form has greatly improved since joining this class.

He really loved it and wants to move on to the regular classes. I told him that would be a good thing to do after the baby gets here. He was a little disappointed that I am making him wait, but hopefully it won't be long before I feel like I can do it.

-On a side note....I went to the Doctor today and found that I am actually progressing with this baby. I have never gone into labor on my own and the Dr said that I most likely won't make it to my due date with this one. Since I am still technically 36 weeks, that surprised me greatly. I am feeling a little nervous now that I will go into labor any second. If I know my body at all though I am sure I will go all 40 weeks without so much as a hard contraction. I guess we will see how things go.

  1. I always stressed about who I would call if it happened in the middle of the night. I know you have tons of family around, but put us on the list of people you can wake up! :) You look so great!
