A Little Snow and a Little Shed

I know. It's disgusting that it snowed today. We got about an inch all together of the wettest, heaviest snow. My garden, my poor garden, is still covered in it. It is starting to melt, but I am afraid that we've lost some of the tender ones. I wonder if Mother Nature offers refunds for IFA?

The plane in this picture is one that the boys wanted Mike to build them. They asked and he did it. He is such a wonderful dad. It works as a teeter-totter on the wings.

Mike's high school friend and his wife are moving for a couple of years while he goes to school in Maine. So what do we do to wish them farewell? Have him help us build a shed. I know, we are the nicest friends. He worked as a framer for a few years and he was wonderful enough to help us throw this baby up. Mike has been saving wood from his work for the last 4 years, so this has been pretty much free so far. We will finish it as we have the extra mula, so you might not see the end result for quite some time. It's a start though.

  1. I can't believe it snowed there today! So crazy! Just think...you will be sitting on the beach in no time. That shed is amazing too. How cool is that!
