It turns out that Zeke has conductive hearing loss. He took a couple hearing tests at school, and another with the district nurse, and failed on some level. I can't read the thing, but it says on the bottom that he is experiencing conductive hearing loss due to fluid. So we need to go to the Ear Nose and Throat Dr. again to see what we can do. Probably tubes again! I think we are going to do tubes every 2 years in this family. First Zeke at 2, then Jack at 2, now Zeke at 6. Well I don't know if that's what the Dr. will suggest, but is the most likely scenario. I feel so bad that he has to go through that again. I feel pretty bad for our pocket book too. Worse for Zeke of course.

Oh man! I feel sorry for that kid! I hope they can figure out what to do. Cohen had 2 sets of ear tubes....no fun. But if it makes them hear better...then it's worth it.
ReplyDeletePoor guy! I'm sorry. I hope the ENT can help!
