Our Summer Trip to Cali

This July we embarked on a 10 day vacation to California. Our older boys had been with Ryan and Jayme's family for 19 days and were currently in San Diego camping with them. The rest of our family made it to San Diego on July 4th, and we got to see fireworks and spend a few days with Ryan's family. 

After a few days of lounging at the beach, we drove up to San Francisco to spend a few days with my sister, Madra. We went to pier 39, spent some time at the cold beach and went to the Exploratorium. (I will post about that later)

Next it was back down to Monterey where we attended a Souza family reunion and stayed with my aunt, Rosemarie. 

We had so much fun on our trip. It was a lot of driving and to make it more complicated we towed a small aluminum trailer so we could pick up my grandmother's hutch and dining room table. We are so glad we did. I love having them here in my house. 

It was a trip to remember, for sure.
