It's Great to be 8!

Jackson turned 8 on the 23rd! I can't believe it. Another one of our children is at the age of accountability. He got to make the decision to be baptized or not. Of course, raised in an LDS family, they most likely all choose to be baptized but it's still their choice. I made sure he knew what an important decision it was and that he was promising to follow Christ forever. We had a fun birthday weekend and then prepared for his baptism weekend the next week.

We were so grateful for all our friends and family that drove up for Jackson's special day. And to all those that helped with the program.

Here are the Priesthood members that confirmed Jackson a member and gave him the gift of the Holy Ghost. (left to right) Our new Bishop, Bishop Braegger, Zac Jensen, Mike, Grandpa Stoker, Tyler Stoker, and Michael Malouf.
This little lady leaves for the Houston Texas mission in July. We sure will miss her. Big thanks to her and her sister Holly for helping with the music.

Jana made these cupcakes for Jackson. Aren't they adorable? They were delicious as well.
The traditional baptism family picture. Nicholas looks ticked, but he is just doing a fake smile. :)

What a wonderful weekend it has been.
