Last minute, Mike and I found out that his dad's timeshare in Cabo was available. I mean really last minute. I booked our flights 3 weeks before we were supposed to be down there. Judy, Mike's oldest sister said she would love to take the kids and we should go and How do you say no to that? We spent 5 days basking in the sun, getting massages, hiking up and down rocks, strolling along the beach, and eating incredible seafood. (note:there is a picture of Mike and I in our swimsuits. I love the picture, but apologize for sensitive eyes. :0)

There was a restaurant down from our room and 2 nights they had shows going on. We had great seats. The swimsuit picture was taken right after we had gotten back from Lovers Beach. We hiked over the rocks behind us to go swim in the Sea of Cortez. You can't swim in the Pacific because it has a wicked under toe right here. We were so tired, but it was fun.

This hotel was next door. It totally reminded us of Star Wars. I kept thinking sand people were going to come out barking and waving guns.

Walking into town. We did this many times. We were so sore by the end of the week.
I love this picture. :) The first 2 days of our stay it was kind of chilly in our room. The rooms are designed to stay cool and the temperatures outside were in the low 60s. They don't have heaters in Cabo. ;) The last 3 days were gorgeous though. The weather kept getting warmer and the water bluer. If we didn't miss our kids so much we wouldn't have come home.
