I know. We are crazy! Everyone in this house is a dog lover (including myself), but it still seems crazy to get a dog. I made this huge list of things from what kind and color of dog to what kind of breeder I wanted to buy one from and we found a match. We met the breeder halfway and picked up Lady, our cocker spaniel. She is super sweet and little and fun! The kids all love her. She is doing really well potty and kennel training. She has a big wire kennel in the family room and she sleeps in it all night. She also spends time in it during the day while we are all around and doesn't cry at all. She has started walking outside to go potty all by herself, which is nice because there is over a foot of snow outside. I don't really like walking out in it all the time. She hasn't had an accident in 2 weeks. We don't really let her walk around by herself yet, but she spends a good amount of time running around the kitchen. We sure love our little addition and I hope we can train her to be a great, obedient dog.
