The worst part about Mike losing his job is all the paperwork. We have paperwork for insurance, unemployment, resumes, applications, and phone call after phone call to people that are supposed to have answers to questions. Most of these people you get on the phone haven't a clue as to how to help you and tell you the wrong things. I have been dealing with insurance for the baby since August and just barely found out that I need to turn in some other stinkin' thing of paperwork or they won't cover him. It's been since AUGUST that we've been dealing with this! You could have told me back in AUGUST that I needed that. Why!!! Why can't I talk to someone that knows what I need to do. Why am I spending hours going through all of our family's paperwork just to find the wrong things and fax the wrong information. I like to think of myself as a pretty calm person, but this is going to make my head explode. I just want someone to tell me what I need to do right now so I don't have to deal with this forevermore.
On a happier note, Mike has enrolled into UVU for the Spring term. Keep your fingers crossed that they accept that stinkin' application and all goes well with the financing. He is also going to be working seasonal at Costco. FUN! I hope they keep him. Although, it is extremely tough to get on there permanently, it would be a nice job for while he is in school.
I may have to steal that picture to put on my blog sometime. It's really expressive. I hope the paperwork you were getting authenticated today works out right this time! What a pain!

ReplyDeleteThat is awesome that he got on at Costco even if it's just seasonal it is so hard to get on there! Plus they pay good much better than Target lol. I will pray that they keep him! I am so sorry about all your problems with paperwork and people being dumb. I had a lot of problems with my LOA and people being dumb it is so frustrating!
ReplyDeleteI agree about the paperwork. I just now make copies of everything I have to send in when we change jobs so I don't have to recall every doctors appt for the past decade. It drives me batty.
ReplyDeleteWow I'm sorry Mike lost his job! Good luck with all the crazy people and forms you have to deal with. I hope his job works out well too!
