Can you feel it?

Here it comes. My leaves have only been changing this week, but winter is coming anyways. I love fall and wish it would last forever, but change is always good. The bright side is that I get to clean up the yard and say goodbye to yard work until March. I have been spending this week making the inside of our house habitable again since we are in for a few secluded months inside. This is a picture of fresh snow on the mountains to my west. That means that they are not the Rockies, but plenty big enough. I come from a place where the highest mountain would be a gently rolling hill compared to my new mountain views. I love that we are surrounded by them. When I first moved here people would say, "If you're lost, the mountains are East." We are surrounded by mountains so more accurately, the BIG mountains are East. :)
